Jack The Giant Slayer Review
Rated PG-13
117 minutes
Directed by Brian Singer
Jack the Giant Slayer is a movie about the myth of Jack and the Beanstalk, and how it was dark and gritty to begin with. To begin, we meet Jack (Nicholas Hoult) and Isabelle, the princess of the kingdom of Cloisters. One fateful night, in a look for adventure. Jack, having traden his horse for some beans a monk gave him, strikes up a conversation with Isabelle, but it's cut short when a beanstalk starts growing beneath Jack's house, and through a series of unfortunate events, Isabelle gets taken to the Giant's kingdom.
